How did I get here?

I've lived in many states over the last 40+ years and many different dwellings- from single family homes to apartments, duplexes, condo and RV's

I found myself challenged with new spaces, new layouts and new ideas that came with each and every different place I called home.  I love a challenge- especially when it involves home decor.  It was important to me to make a homey and comfortable oasis that brought a smile to my face everytime I entered!

Since I moved around so much I wanted furnishings to match the style I was living at that particular place and time.  Full retail shopping was never on my radar screen, my shopping led me to second hand stores, antique shops, yard sales, online marketplaces, thrift stores, etc- you get the idea!

Not only did I find unique pieces and quality pieces, I met and supported the local mom and pop boutiques- a win win!!

I have renovated and decorated 5 of my own homes and 4 RV's.  My style and tastes changed with every dwelling.

Along the way I had many people tell me I should do this for a living and so I decided to take the plunge and put myself out there to help others realize their dreams and visions

My photo gallery is a small sampling of what I have done but it gives you an idea that you can make any space special with paint, wall decor and fun furnishings that don't break the bank.  I've mixed old with new, bright and moody and incorporated a few personal items that make it unique and homey.

I am excited to offer my services that can help you create your own personal and unique space.  I can look at your layout, get to know your style and help you put together a happy, homey space.  I will shop for your decor and then help you put it all together.  Sound like fun??  I hope so because I'm here to make this journey an exciting one!

I have a good eye and a great knowledge of space and flow.  Kitchen and bathroom design and layout is also a specialty.

I have renovated, designed, furnished and decorated three boutique rental properties that I also managed.  I am a "superhost" with airbnb.  I added special touches that made my properties unique.  I can help set you up for success with your rental property.
